Nigeria and the Republic of Turkey are desirous of implementing the bilateral instruments between them. This was the highlight when the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Amb. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu received in audience the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mehmet Poroy in her office.
Discussions during the engagement focused on key insights from Nigeria’s President’s recent State Visit to Turkey and strategies to accelerate the operationalisation of the pivotal Memorandum of Understanding signed during the visit, strengthening the bilateral relationship.
Nigeria and Türkiye have MoUs in various fields including Education, Defence, Trade, Media and Infrastructure Development among others.
