The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency, Taher Elbaour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of Libya, during which both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
Discussions centred on migration management, the transfer of prisoners, and the prevailing security challenges in the Sahel region. The two Ministers underscored the importance of enhanced collaboration in addressing irregular migration and promoting regional peace and stability. They also agreed to sustain close diplomatic engagement in advancing shared security and humanitarian objectives.
