The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu received in audience, Mr. Mohammed Malick Fall, the outgoing United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The Office of the R\/HC works closely with the Government of Nigeria, UN entities, International Financial Institutions,\u00a0 development partners, civil society organizations and the diplomatic community to support Nigeria’s National development priorities and respond to humanitarian challenges.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains committed to facilitating a seamless working relationship between the United Nations and Government entities in the country, and to working with the Office of the Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator to ensure that humanitarian action, development programming and peacebuilding initiatives are coordinated,\u00a0 efficient,\u00a0 and aligned with Nigeria’s national priorities.<\/p>\n
