Kashim Shettima is representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, India, as Nigeria seeks to deepen cooperation with major emerging economies and expand South-South partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Shettima is leading a high-level delegation comprising the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu; Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole; Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani; Environment, Balarabe Lawal, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Nigeria became a BRICS partner country in January 2025 and has since used the platform to advance its economic and diplomatic interests.
