The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs,\u00a0 Ambassador Dunoma Umar Ahmed, Phd, who is Nigeria’s D-8 Commissioner, participated in the 51st D-8 Commission Meeting held in Ankara T\u00fcrkiye, from 15 – 16 June 2026. The session also marked the 29th Anniversary of the D-8 Organization.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines, the Permanent Secretary met with Ambassador Musa Kulaklikaya, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, on Wednesday 17th June 2026. During the meeting, bilateral relations between both countries and opportunities for further cooperation were discussed.<\/p>\n
