He noted that Nigeria continues to play a leading role in promoting peace, security, and economic development across the continent.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange perspectives on diplomacy, regional security, and cross-border cooperation. Discussions highlighted Nigeria\u2019s active engagement through ECOWAS and other regional frameworks, as well as collaborative efforts in counter-terrorism, including the Multinational Joint Task Force.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Commandant of the Burundi Senior Command and Staff College expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended Nigeria\u2019s leadership in regional affairs.
