The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf M. Tuggar (OON) received in audience a team of 18 Scholars from the Schwarzman Scholars Programme at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, led by Ms. Tami Austen-Peters today 2nd May, 2024.<\/div>\n

The Schwarzman Scholars Programme affords selected scholars from different countries the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through a fully-funded one-year Master\u2019s degree in Global Affairs. It is also designed to build a global community of future Leaders who will strengthen understanding between their countries and China as well as with the rest of the world.<\/div>\n

The Honourable Minister welcomed the Team and informed them about the 4-Ds Foreign Policy thrust (Democracy, Development, Demography, and Diaspora) of the Nigerian Government.
