Tuggar (OON) received in audience, a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar emphasized the shared heritage between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, especially with regards to Nigerians who have lived in Saudi Arabia for centuries. This he said is pivotal to the 4-Ds foreign policy strategy of the Ministry, whereby the Nigerian Government is keen on harnessing the potential of its diaspora communities.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The visiting Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, acknowledged the close ties that have existed between the two countries for several centuries, and noted the strong bilateral cooperation in various fields ranging from the fight against terrorism, to cultural exchanges and educational support.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">He also used the occasion to seek Nigeria\u2019s support for Saudi Arabia\u2019s bid to host Expo 2030, alongside securing the hosting rights of FIFA World Cup in 2034.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">On the delegation of the visiting Minister of State, was the Director in his office, Amb. Khaleed M.M. Alangari, and Amb.
