Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama and the Bank\u2019s President H.E. Prof. Benedict Oramah on 30th September, 2022.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Participants at the signing ceremony included the Hon. Minister of Information &amp; Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed, Hon. Minister of State for Health, Hon. Joseph Ekumankama, the Executive Vice President Governance, Legal &amp; Corporate Services AFREXIMBANK and Executive Vice President Mrs. Kanayo Awani of AFREXIMBANK among other dignitaries.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">AMCE Abuja, considered first of its kind in West Africa, is designed to promote intra-African medical tourism in areas such as oncology, hematology, cardiology and general healthcare, in addition to promoting training, R&amp;D. It is expected that AMCE will open its doors to its first set of patients in Jan. 2025.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">AFREXIMBANK, in realizing this laudable initiative is partnering with Kings College Hospital London (KCH), Uni. Of Wisconsin, NNPC, Bank of Industry (BOI) and General Electric among others.
