A key part of our work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is developing frameworks that open doors for Nigeria’s private sector and citizens in emerging markets and strategic growth regions. This approach guides our engagements and shapes how we position Nigeria within the global economy.
In advancing this goal, the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, met with Mr. Fahad Hamad Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development, at the sidelines of the Doha Forum for a bilateral discussion focused on unlocking new opportunities for cooperation. The meeting explored areas where development financing, innovation, and strategic partnerships can support Nigeria’s priorities; especially in sectors that create jobs, expand investment, and strengthen long-term national capacity.
The Ministry will continue to advance engagements that translate diplomacy into real economic value for Nigerians at home and in the global marketplace.
