Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation agreed on increased Funding and timely release of Budgeted Funds.
As part of the continuous collaboration towards improving the financial condition of the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dunoma Umar Ahmed, PhD, paid a visit to the Accountant-General of the Federation, Dr. Shamseldeen B. Ogunjimi, in his office on Monday, 8th December 2025.
The meeting focused on improving the finances of the Ministry, particularly the timely release of budgeted funds to our diplomatic missions abroad and headquarters, and also engaged in wider deliberations in areas of mutual interest.
