The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the German Federation, His Excellency, Amb. Ita Solomon Enang, received in audience, the Ambassador-designate of Germany to Nigeria, His Excellency, Stefan Roessel at the Embassy of Nigeria in Berlin. Ambassador Ita Enang personally handed over the diplomatic visa processed by the Mission to the Ambassador-designate of Germany to Nigeria, during the visit ahead of his assumption of duty in Abuja.
The occasion provided an opportunity to discuss a shared vision for deepening and modernizing the Nigeria Germany strategic partnership, with greater cooperation in trade and investment, education, culture, innovation, regional peace and security, and people to people relations.
Amb. Enang encouraged the Ambassador-designate to engage widely across Nigeria and experience its rich cultural diversity, economic opportunities, youthful energy and growing potential, while promoting a balanced and factual understanding of the country.
On his part, the Ambassador Designate expressed his enthusiasm for his forthcoming assignment and his commitment to exploring new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
The meeting marks an important moment in the relationship between our two countries and reflects a shared commitment to a stronger, more dynamic and mutually beneficial Nigeria-Germany partnership.
