A safe road network is indispensable for intra-African trade, tourism, and regional integration—goals at the very heart of our foreign policy and the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement.
This launch today resonates beyond our domestic agenda. Road safety is a universal concern and a key pillar of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. As a member of the global community, Nigeria actively participates in international fora dedicated to improving transport safety and sustainable mobility.
Through our diplomatic missions, we engage in knowledge sharing and seek international partnerships to enhance our capacities in this sector.
