The Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu received in audience, Ambassador of Mexico to Nigeria, H.E Alfredo Miranda. Nigeria and Mexico first established diplomatic relations in 1976, and both countries share warm bilateral relations.
The trade volume between Nigeria and Mexico is modest and under-diversified, a situation that the recently inauguration Nigeria-Mexico Chamber of Commerce is designed to address through strengthening trade relations and economic ties.
Nigeria aligns itself with Mexico’s policy of advancement of women’s rights through empowerment and gender parity in governance , administrative, legislative, and judicial structures whilst also protecting the sanctity of family values.
