Today, 8th February, 2024, the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Yusuf M. Tuggar (OON) Chaired the ECOWAS Extraordinary Session of the Mediation and Security Council at Ministerial level on the Notification of withdrawal from ECOWAS by Burkina Faso and the Republics of Mali and Niger.
The Extraordinary Session underscored the importance of sustained engagement and dialogue in resolving the impasse.
