The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Adamu Ibrahim Lamuwa received in audience the Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights of the United States, Uzra Zeya on Monday, 28th January, 2024.
Discussions centred on deepening cooperation in the areas of democracy, governance and human rights as well as regional security in particular through the U.S. Strategy to Prevent Conflict and Promote Stability.
The visiting Envoy was accompanied to the Ministry by David Frost, the Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the U.S. Embassy in Abuja.
