The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dunoma Umar Ahmed PhD, held a bilateral meeting with the visiting Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Alibek Kuanytrov on Monday, 24th February 2025. The meeting was aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring areas of mutual cooperation between the two nations. During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations and enhancing collaboration on global issues of mutual interest. The discussions also focused on the formal establishment of diplomatic missions, expanding trade and investment opportunities, and expression of interest in fostering partnerships between private sector stakeholders, among others.
