The Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama received the visit of the Secretary General of the OACPS, H.E. Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, and his team today, 27th April 2023.
The meeting featured the signing of an MoU for the Establishment of a Dialogue Mechanism on Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Secretariat of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS).
The MoU was signed on behalf of the Government of Nigeria by H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama (HMFA), while H.E. Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, Secretary General of the OACPS signed on behalf of his organization.
The Nigerian Agencies seized with the implementation of the MoU include the Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA) and the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC).
